I purchased the uniball signo .5 pen so that i could highlight in my stralogy and im so sad that it smudges with marker and mildliner. I had high hopes for it.

Yay a new video! First I love how you know and use what works for you. The TN is my favorite system. I'm in a b6 slim and I adore it! Love how you are using the moleskine... you were one of the people who inspired me to try and be more organic with my journaling. I have two journals... one where I do like to memory keep, write about the day, prompt, add ephemera... and then my other one is like an overflow/auxiliary type of journal where all the other things go... notes, pen tests, inks, washi, anything I need it for. It's been great so far for me. Thanks for sharing.

I use the daily moleskine trick. If you want even more pages, get the 18 month that starts in July near the beginning of the calendar year, I do end up using some as dailies but I have about an expanded version of notes pages before to journal, write notes, tip in and all the things.

Does the string cause a lot of wear on the Stalogy? I have a b6 tn and a b6 stalogy and would love to put them together. When i put it on the string i saw it made quite a big gap and made me rethink it. Then i searched your name and stalogy and there you are. I can always count on you. Haha

I just ordered a b6 Speptember leather. I’ve been wanting to try b6 for so long but didn’t want to spend much in case i didnt like it. I’m really excited to try it. I hope the dimensions are correctly a b6.

Have you seen the new Kokuyo ME notebook cover? They look so nice! I like the systemic but the extra flaps/pockets just seem to busy for me personally. I tend to get overwhelmed easily if there's 'too much' but I think that's just my ADHD

Out of the many review channels I have watched, which embarrassingly is quite a lot, I would say your selections and reviews are some of the most thorough and comparative with suggestions I completely agree with. As I love to see other people's opinions about things that I have used myself, because I like to try out watercolors from all different brands and countries of origin, and form my own opinions based on my experiences too. Although I am yet to try out Schmincke Horadam Watercolors, I have tried many other top brands such as M. Graham, Daniel Smith, White Nights, Rosa Gallery, Paul Rubens, Lukas 1862, Winsor & Newton... And the list goes on. I would love to try the Schminke as well as the Rermbrandt, but it would be just for novelty, as I think I have pretty much decided on my #1 being Da Vinci. To me Da Vinci is the best performing, best made, locally available, best priced premium artist grade watercolor available, and I am sticking to it ( and I have 33 to 48 colors in each of the other top brands I have mentioned. To me the only other brand that could give them a run for their spot is M. Graham... but... HONEY is the problem, and in my opinion is not very suitable for portability in travel palettes, but it is fantastic if you have a studio where you can leave it undisturbed, covered, and gravity compatible. While Da Vinci is my first love, White Nights and Rosa Gallery is my second. Lukas 1862 is my sort of serious practice beater pigments that behave very similarly to Da Vinci, and I can toss them around and experiment on ideas without using up my favorites. I agree with you about Art Whale too as being a good foundation for beginning artists at a reasonable price. They are hard to beat for a budget set. I could also say Paul Rubens is a good place to start if you want to get a feel for how good watercolors should flow and behave, but the only thing that I have against them is sketchy pigment information and quirky color labeling issues. Great video!

As handmade colours I just adore deep deep light, A. Gallo and Della Magna, and for regular colours I really loke Roman Smal, but also Schmincke.

Is your swatch chart available somewhere?

I just got that cover but in passport size. I love it! It’s well made and has room for several inserts.

For those who may be looking for an alternative to White Nights in terms of quality and performance, might I suggest Rosa Gallery? They're made in Ukraine, are formulated almost identically, and are similarly priced.

I just want to say the poromo no longer looks this way. its all marbled leather looking. It has lighter wash and darker wash coloring. I was kinda disappointed. I ordered a replacement and it was also much lighter then the image on amazon and the review pictures. The inside pockets are the right color just the exterior isnt.
